Michael Grande
President

Mr. Grande holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Finance & Management from Providence College. Michael previously served as the Chief Lending Officer for a CT-based commercial bank and has extensive understanding and mastery of financial industry regulations and security procedures. He brings knowledge and expertise in the areas of corporate finance, financial reporting, cash management, interpretation of financial results, strategic planning and general business administration. Mr. Grande also serves on the board of directors for numerous educational and non-profit organizations.

Jeffrey Grande
Vice President of Business Development

Mr. Grande holds a Bachelor of Arts from Boston College and a Master’s of Science in Management Operations and Information Technology from the Worcester Polytechnic Institute. Jeffrey has obtained numerous certifications across TBNG Consulting’s product spectrum. Jeffrey has a wide variety of industry experience including several years with AT&T (formerly SBC/SNET) as a Systems Engineer, designing data and voice network solutions on an enterprise scale. Prior to this experience, Jeffrey was a Corporate Systems Engineer with Nortel Networks in Chelmsford, Mass., and held the title of Assistant Vice President of Information Technology with a Hartford, CT based financial services company.

Michael Paone
Vice President of Sales 

Mr. Paone attended Southern Connecticut State University where he founded the first computer lab for on campus residents. His current certifications include: Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Fortinet Certified Network & Security Professional(FCNSP), Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), and Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA). Prior to co-founding TBNG Consulting, Michael was employed as a Senior Engineer for Telos Pharmaceuticals and as a Civilian Engineer for the United States Navy/Marine Corp. in San Diego, CA. He also was employed as a Remote Network Engineer for Greenfield Online in Wilton, CT and San Francisco, CA. Michael has 20 years of expertise and ensures that TBNG Consulting’s network engineers and operations staff consistently deliver the highest quality technical services to our diverse client base.

Jason Pufahl
Vice President of Security Services

Jason has 20 years of infrastructure and information security experience and has spent the last 15 years dedicated to information security and privacy. He earned a Master’s Degree in Education Technology from the University of Connecticut, holds numerous industry certifications and frequently speaks on topics related to information security technology and awareness. Jason’s philosophy for developing institutional information security programs emphasizes the implementation of security fundamentals and sound operational practices over complexity. Most recently, he worked as the Chief Information Security Officer and Director of Infrastructure for the University of Connecticut and was responsible for all aspects of information security encompassing risk management, disaster recovery, identity management, security policy, regulatory compliance, security analytics, security awareness training, and technical controls implementation.

Robert Baird
Director

Mr. Baird is the principal of Baird BGS (Business Growth Strategies), LLC where he works with businesses to identify patterns that limit and restrict their business growth. He shows clients how to take different success concepts from different industries and adopts them to their specific businesses. He focuses on identifying overlooked opportunities, hidden assets (both tangible and intangible) and under-performing areas of a business that others do not recognize. As an adviser he not only offers advice but steps in to implement suggested improvements. Over the last 24 years he has been a CPA, a Controller, CFO and COO. He has spent the last 10 years solving problems and fixing and growing businesses. Mr. Baird holds a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Assumption College.

Don Judson
Don Judson
Director

Mr. Judson is an accomplished executive with over 25 years of experience in information technology, finance, operations, and consulting. He brings considerable expertise in information technology (IT) operations, information security, financial reporting systems, profit and loss reporting (P&L), and business strategy. Through his extensive consulting experience, Don offers a strong understanding of various IT services markets throughout North America. In 2007, Don co-founded OpenSky Corporation, an IT professional services firm. He and his partners grew OpenSky to a $30 million business in 5 years, earning several Inc. 500 Fast Growth awards. While providing advisory services to OpenSky clients, Don built and managed the finance, human resources, and IT operations for OpenSky. After managing the successful sale of OpenSky to TUV Rheinland, Don accepted a seat on the board of Nerac Corporation, a global research and advisory firm. Don is also an active advisor to XcellR8, an advisory group that provides entrepreneurs with business guidance and connections to growth capital. Don holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Economics and Management with a minor in Computer Science from Ithaca College.

Philip Cooper
Director

Mr. Cooper is a management consultant, specializing in market analysis. Mr. Cooper began his career with Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver and Jacobson, a large corporate law firm based in New York, where he worked in the areas of corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Cooper continued his work in corporate finance at Kidder, Peabody, a New York investment bank. Subsequent to Kidder, Mr. Cooper took a position at a mid-sized strategy consulting firm based in Cambridge, Massachusetts, where he worked on strategic engagements in banking and general marketing. Mr. Cooper currently provides management consulting services to clients in the technology sector. Mr. Cooper is a graduate of Harvard College and the Harvard Business School / Harvard Law School joint JD/MBA program.
