As some of the most daring individuals at TBNG consulting lined up together on August 19th to test their mettle as a group for the Warrior Dash in Torrington CT, many thought this could be their last outing as a group with all their respective body parts in place. Armed with nothing but an old pair of throwaway shoes and a custom-made shirt, this motley crew comprised of sales, engineering, and operations for the company met the challenges head-on in what comprised of a 3-mile obstacle course race.
While some of the obstacles were challenging and fun, nothing could top the total mud immersion of “Muddy Mayhem”, 100 feet of crawling in mud under barbed wire. Tackling each obstacle was probably the most fun this group has had in a long time. They were all physically demanding, mentally taxing, but as a whole, we totally loved it. Every employee managed to cross the finish line and was banged up, tired, cut, scraped, and bruised. Through all this, the team was feeling victorious and exhilarated and there was actual talk of taking on the next OCR race, one even more challenging.
At the finish line, the music was blasting, contests were going on, people were eating, drinking beer, and partying it up. The TBNG team did not disappoint in this aspect either.
Onto the next OCR!
