Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Work with Account Managers to identify revenue opportunities within new and current accounts.

  • Coordinate and provide support to the Account Manager to ensure that the TBNG Consulting solution is selected

  • Develop and present product/solution to potential customers.

  • Act as lead technical resource for the Account Manager on Sales leads, Bids, RFQ's and RFP's.

  • Provide Account Manager a Bill of Materials/Material list, network and service architecture design to hand-off to internal project engineering teams for install.

  • Interface with Account Manager, client and project engineering as issues arise.

  • Work closely with Executive Team to understand product roadmaps, the competitive threats and opportunities, and how to apply that to the customer and prospect base.

  • Detect competitive trends and provide communications back into the business unit with recommendations and strategies on how to advance TBNG solutions.



    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent industry experience.

    • Strong technical background in advanced networking and security.

    • Must be able to translate a products technical features into unique business value.

    • Proven sales engineering and sales support experience in Technology Infrastructure Solutions.

    • Proven experience and deep knowledge of products and technologies from vendors such as Fortinet, Brocade, Ruckus, Meru/FortiAP, Equallogic, Compellent, EMC, Nimble, Barracuda, Datto, Veeam, VMware, VSAN, Citrix, Hyper-V, all Microsoft Server Platforms, Cisco, Palo Alto, Sonicwall, HP, Force 10, Aruba.

    • Strong working experience with MS Visio, Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint.

    • Excellent written/verbal communication skills and presentation skills. Experience with integrating heterogeneous networking and security environments.

    • Familiarity with systems/application management concepts, processes and standards (e.g. SNMP for health monitoring).

    • Understanding and familiarity with virtualization platforms and solutions, particularly VMware ESX/ESXi and vCenter.

    • Sales certifications in technologies listed above is a plus.
